Reporting infringement
EMBRIT responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content on EMBRIT infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — a URL is best.
- Your contact information: address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the above is accurate and that you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, an appropriate judicial district) — filing a counter-notice means the complainant can reach you there.
We restore material 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the original claimant tells us they've filed a court action seeking to restrain you.
Repeat infringers
An account that is the subject of three valid takedown notices is permanently terminated, per the repeat-infringer clause in our Terms of Service.
